Coaches and therapists connect with clients one-on-one via video chat and texting on our mobile-first platform. Clients receive evidence-based therapy programs and self-management skills from coaches and therapists as well. Vida is able to assist clients in managing their development over time and provide proactive coaching when necessary by gathering real-time data from the customer and their devices. Licensed psychologists with a Psypact designation and an E-Passport Certificate in the State where they presently reside are what we are looking for right now. The provider will employ evidence-based techniques, have a laser-like focus on results, and gain knowledge from a network of like-minded specialists in order to assist our customers in better managing their anxiety and depression.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a panel of at least 15+ clients looking to enhance their emotional well-being through behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and CBT.
  • Utilize Vida's in-app video calls and chat to schedule weekly meetings with clients and stay in touch with them on a frequent basis.
  • Encourage members to message you at least once a week to report their thoughts and complete lessons.
  • Create treatment strategies with well-defined SMART objectives that aid in establishing objective measurements that provide significant results.
  • Use the integrated CBT material in Vida to deliver psychoeducation on CBT techniques such as thought journaling, cognitive restructuring/reframing, and behavioral activation.
  • Track your clients' development diligently and act as a partner in responsibility.
  • Create goals, trackers, and habits in the Vida app to promote member responsibility and provide daily prompts to assist with goal-achieving.
  • Plan for release once the therapy program is through by offering case management services, making outside referrals, and working with other providers.
  • By adhering to established procedures and creating safety plans with customers, you can respond to crisis circumstances. Continually determining program eligibility and offering recommendations for additional intervention services as necessary.
  • Communicate clearly with the lead to address client worries, restrictions, therapy development, and other issues. Any issues with clinical performance or failure to live up to expectations should be brought up right away with the lead.
  • Apply an integrated care paradigm to client treatment plans in cooperation with certified dietitians and coaches to improve client progress and treatment results.
  • Keep records of communications with clients in accordance with legal requirements, and follow established documentation standards
  • Documentation must be submitted within 24 hours of any session, including notes from the session, wellness plans, and correspondence with other healthcare practitioners. In addition, provide evidence within 24 hours of any provider or member cancellations or no-shows.
  • Obey the national standards of care established by the state licensing bodies where the therapist has a license
  • Observe all applicable federal, state, and HIPAA laws regarding the privacy of medical records.
  • Attend and actively engage in staff meetings, weekly supervision, and one-on-one sessions with the lead.
  • Finish all in-service instruction on time

Qualifications

  • A Psypact Designation as well as an E-Passport Certificate in the psychologist's home state.
  • A doctorate or master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as psychology, counseling, marital and family therapy, or another
  • Licensed psychologist in good standing who is able to provide counseling.
  • Knowledge of CBT and other scientifically supported treatment approaches
  • Knowledge of mindfulness practices
  • An interest in using technology to improve customer service
  • Interest in and familiarity with recent findings in clinical depression and anxiety treatment
  • Knowledge of technological tools, such as video treatment, smartphone applications, and cloud-based applications (Google Suite, Single Sign-On, Slack).
  • Practical knowledge of a virtual healthcare setting
  • Dealing with patients in psychotherapy for at least three years
  • Understanding of methods including SMART goal-setting, motivational interviewing, and determining a client's willingness to change
